Adding pink to my wardrobe

*This Post is in collaboration with Quiz Clothing on a gifting basis.

Pink is a colour I’m always up and down with. Sometimes I’ll go through a phase and all I’ll be dreaming of is baby pink, other times I hate it and you’ll see me living in neutrals. I’m currently back wanting to let my secret girly girl out and pink is making a slow come back to my wardrobe.

Quiz reached out to me to make a blog post with a theme of my partner choices my outfit. I full well knew my boyfriend wouldn’t have the attention spam to fully scroll through everything on the website. So I steered him in the right direction and gave him options to pick from. Team work makes the dream work right? Needless to say I think we’ve pulled it out the bag with these outfits. These outfits are the perfect date look, we’ve come up with a day time look and more of an evening look. In all honesty I can’t decide which one I like the best.

This pink shirt was something I was a little wary of, rather unsure whether I could pull it off. I’ve never really been a shirt kinda girl, but it’s confirmed I’m converted to the shirt trend. To be honest I’m already looking to add more to my wardrobe (I actually have a fashion problem). Styling this shirt with a basic pair of black jeans and boots really gives it the attention it deserves. The pink and black are such staple colours so it’s not too bold but at the same time it adds a little something to my wardrobe. You could also style this with a simple skirt for more of a dressy look. I love the oversized style and think tucking one side in really gives it an effortless chic look.

I’ve been looking for a pinafore dress for a while now, and I couldn’t be happier when my boyfriend picked this one. If you’ve read my last blog post, you’ll know I’ve become obsessed with high neck tops, and I may have brought two more since writing it. Ooops, you can never have too many right? Styling this dress with a plain white neck top really showcases how gorgeous the dress is. I love this extra pink detailing on it, just gives it that extra bit of colour. The fit and quality is lovely, this is really one of those pieces that makes you feel so good when you’re in it.

This pink bag perfectly compliments the pink detail on the dress, and pulls the outfit together for more of an evening look. I’ve slowly started to realise how much accessories can complete an outfit. Having a bag on me makes me feel so much more put together. The best thing about this bag is the size. It’s honestly so ideal, not too big or too small, fits everything and looks cute. What more could you want?

All the items I’ve talked about are from Quiz Clothing, my favourtie has the best the dress, you can find it and many others for all occasions in their dress section. Let me know which ones your favourite.

  1. I’ve never been one for colour in general, let alone something as out there as pink. But I looove all of these pieces, you’re absolutely killing it! Maybe come Spring/Summer I’ll have to delve into a little bit more colourful of a wardrobe xx
