Brighton has always been a place I’ve been dying to visit. Growing up watching the ‘Brighton Youtubers’ I’ve always seen how beautiful it looked and had worked up quite a list of the bits and bobs I wanted to do and see. Unfortunately we picked one of the worst days to visit with the weather but then again do we ever get sunshine in England?
The thing I love most about Brighton is that there is so much there. I only spent half a day there so didn’t quite get to do everything but I got a good feel of the town. One of my favourite parts has the be The Lanes and all the little back streets. I always love little independent shops and Brighton is absolutely full of them.
The list of food places in Brighton goes on and on. There are so many places I wanted to visit but I couldn’t quite stomach everything I wanted to try.
I have a MASSIVE sweet tooth and can never resist a bit of cake. I love little coffee shops and just past the Lanes we found Jolliffes Coffee Shop. They had such a great selection of cakes I didn’t know what to go for but I decided to pick Caramel Banana Loaf. Safe to say I wasn’t disappointed.
I love eating healthy and I always find it so hard to find places that do healthy food. WE stumbled across Foodilic. I have never seen so many good looking salads in my life. I know what you’re thinking, salads??? But trust me with the right flavours salads can be incredible. In Foodilic you get to pick one main and two side salads. I went for salmon, a superfood salad and couscous. The flavours were absolutely incredible and I would 100% recommend it to anyone! As well as being in Brighton I believe there is one in Kings Cross London.
Can we just take a minute to appreciate this wall. If you know me you will know that I am absolutely in love with dogs so when I saw this wall I couldn’t help getting a cheeky picture for the post!
I went for a fairly simple outfit mainly for comfort if I am honest. However I absolutely love this sort of style at the moment and I am living in t-shirts!
Skirt & Belt- Primark
Bag- KoKo Couture (Which is now £16 in the sale!)
Now it wouldn’t be Brighton without taking a trip to the pier. The pier did not only look like such good fun but it also gave the most beautiful view of the beach. Apparently it was so nice that I was so distracted to even take a picture, oops. But you’ll just have to take my word for it.
Also down by the sea front was so many cute little shops/stalls. They always seem to sell the cutest things that I would love to buy but then equally I would have no where to put it. The best thing I saw was little engraved spoons with things such as ‘ Post Breakup Ice Cream Spoon’ , ‘Bitch Peas’ and ‘Spooning Leads to Forking’ .
Have you been to Brighton before?
