Recently there has been quite a few products that I’ve re found my love in and equally a few products that I’ve been quite disappointing by.
Urban Decay Perversion Mascara £19
If you are looking for a decent mascara look no further. I am honestly so in love with this mascara and I never want to use anything else again. My previous one ran out and I was using a few different mascara until I decided to repurchase it. Going back to it really made me realise how good it was. It makes your lashes look long and thick without them looking clumpy. Honestly can’t fault this product at all.
Soap and Glory Supercat liquid eyeliner £6
This I’ve neglected for a while. I used it a couple of times and thought it was alright but I stuck to my L’oreal super liner. My l’oreal liner then started to run a little low so I started t use this one more. Every time I use it it just gets better and better. The best thing about this is the fact that the nip is thin so you can get a precises application but it’s so strong so it doesn’t bend making it super easy to use. If your no eyeliner expert like me this is the perfect eyeliner to use.
Mac Velvet Teddy £16.50
Being macs most hyped lipstick ever I finally decided it was time I got it, and trust me you will not be disappointed. Mac formulas are one of the best and this is no exception. The colour is so versatile and can be worn for any occasion. This lipstick is perfect for anyone that’s not too comfortable wearing lipstick and is a great shade to start off with.
NYX Liquid Suede Sandstorm £6.50
Nyx have been killing the lip game for so long now and the one product I hadn’t tried was their Liquid Suede’s. I decided to get the colour sandstorm, which has a brownish tone. This is not the cololur I tend to use however I really really like it. It’s not too much and compliments pretty much any eye shadow. The finish is matte and I find it lasts a good few hours before having to top it up.
Revolution Ultra Strobe Balm Palette £8
In my eyes makeup Revolution is one of the best drugstore brands at the moment, their prices are great and most often their quality insane. But this one just didn’t do it for me. When you swatch it on your arm they look so insanely pigmented but some how when I put it on my face it just disappears and also removes my foundation. I keep trying and trying with this palette but I just don’t get anything out of it.
Benefit Dew the Hoola £26
Hoola Bronzer has to be one of benefits most talked about products so I had high hopes for this liquid version. I only have the mini size but I will not be buying the full size. The product just doesn’t do much. I feel the colour is too light and doesn’t make much difference to the skin. However, this might be goof if you are trying to achieve a more of a natural look.
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Cairo £6
After I’ve just hyped all of Nyx lip products I’ve now put this one in my fails. What are you doing Harriet??? The shade is far too light for me and when I swatched it I thought it would appear more natural on my face than it does. I’ve got other shades of the lip creams that I love but for some reason this one makes my lips really dry and the product really clings to dry patches. Aka not a good look. I’m really dissapoited by this product but It’s probably just my fault for buying a shade too light for me.
