This has got to be one of my favorite time of the year. I love shopping at the best of times, but when most shops are offering around 50% it just makes it that little bit better. Being a student I unfortunately had to limit myself as there was so much I wanted to get. I love taking advantage of a good bargain so couldn’t wait to get out and explore the sales. I got so many lovely things that I though I would share with you all.
French Connection Brush Gift Set
I’ve been needing some new brushes for a while now, so when I saw these I had to get them. Boots is my favourite place for the sales as all their gift sets are half price unfortunately loads of the ones I wanted were sold out, hopefully I can find them in different stores. This was only £9 down from £18 for 5 brushes and a pot! I’ve never tried French connection brushes but they feel so soft and seem like good quality l, look forward to testing them.
Sparkle & Fade Cropped Lurex T-shirt
Urban Outfitters is one of my favourite shops for the sale and I had to make sure I popped in there. What’s best about Urban Outfitters is that you still get student discount on sale items. I mean what’s better than that? This pink sparkly too caught my eye, I thought it was unique but not too out there. I think this would look great for a casual drinks on a night out either paired with jeans or a plain skirt. This top is tight but fits so well and is really flattering. This was £26 down to £18, then student discount got it down to a bargain price of £16.20!
Now, I’m certainly not going to show you the underwear I brought but just a quick note to say the VS sale is amazing as always. The shop is always crazy and there’s literally underwear thrown everywhere. Sometimes you have to search for the good bits but it’s totally worth it. My purchases today were over 50% off so a great buy.
Topshop Vintage Ripped Hayden Jeans
Jeans are such an essential in everyone’s wardrobe. Topshop jeans are always my favourite, the quality is so good and you can’t beat the fit. However the price is not on the nice side with most of their jeans over £40. These retailed at £45, but were in the sale for £22, add student discount to make £19.80 then you’re good to go. I tend to stick to the classic skinny jeans but I’ve been wanting to branch out and get some baggier ones. Ripped jeans are totally in at the moment and these looked liked the perfect fit. They didn’t have my size so I had to get the size up, but I love the fit on my legs and with a belt they fit perfectly. This chucky back belt adds so much to them and gives them more of an vintage style.
Feel Unique- Urban Decay Perversion Duo
This is my all time favourite mascara and I was seriously running low, as I was browsing feel unique I saw this little set. The set contains a full size mascara and a travel sized on, Even the travel sized one has lasted me around 6 months, so this is worth it in my eyes. This set is £24 on the Urban Decay website and only cost me £13.20. As this is my favourite mascara I just couldn’t say no, If you haven’t tried it you seriously need to.
New Look Black Rose Embroidered Borg Lined Denim Jacket
I’m obsessed with rose embroidery and this jacket is no exception, if you saw my Winter Walks OOTD you would know that I’ve been living in my blue denim jacket. I’ve been wanting a black one for ages so I wouldn’t have to do the dreaded double blue denim. Having a fleece lined jacket is going to be a life saviour, it seems so warm and cosy and I can’t wait to wear it out. I brought this in a size up so I could wear jumpers underneath it, I also love over sized things so this was great.
Let me know what your January sales bargains are and what’s your favourite item I’ve got?
